Chinese for Beginners (adult class) 中文入门( 成人班)

Experienced Mandarin linguist teaches Pinyin (phonetics), character, phrase, sentence, basic reading, writing and conversation techniques.  This course is designed for beginners (adults) who do not have Chinese language education.  Students will learn reading, listening comprehension and speaking basic Mandarin Chinese during this one-year program.   Low teacher student ratio assures personal attention and course customization.

 

 

 

Tai-Chi 太極拳

Tai chi chuan (太極拳) is an internal Chinese martial art often practiced for health reasons. Tai chi is typically practiced for a variety of other personal reasons: its hard and soft martial art technique, demonstration competitions, health and longevity.  Some of Tai-Chi Chuan's training forms are well known to Westerners as the slow motion routines that groups of people practice together every morning in parks around the world, particularly in China.

We will have an experienced Tai-Chi master teaching you Tai-Chi-Chuan in our school.  This also provides you a social networking opportunity.

China History, Geography and Culture 101

Do you want to know about and understand China?  The course may be the one for you.  Experienced professor will introduce China’s critical historical events and legends that shape China’s society today.  The course will also cover China’s geographic characteristics; popular sceneries; tradition and customs; social-cultural  differences and commons of Mainland, Hongkong and Taiwan, and local customs.

Simplified Chinese (简体中文) for Beginners (Pinyin) as foreign language

The class is aimed at 5 -6 year old American students who are interested in learning PinYin.  Student will learn the basics of Chinese phonetics.

適合美洲地區五,六歲學童對中文有學習興趣,本課程為中文之基礎入門.

1st, Simplified Chinese

This class emphasizes on pronunciation, vocabulary, history and culture education.  The course is designed to teach 6-8 year old American students the knowledge in Chinese history and living experience utilizing language characters and literature.

著重於語音教學,字詞教學,情境教學,人文教學.課程使用之語言文字和內容取材,均以且適合美洲地區六至八歲學童的知識層面和生活體驗為範疇.

	2nd, Simplified Chinese 適合六至九歲學童授課,合理安排教材的字,詞,句,篇.內容由淺入深,循序漸進.
	Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) for 2nd Grader 適合六至九歲學童或美洲地區小學二年級學生學科知識水平與生活經驗為主.
	Simplified and Traditional Chinese for 3rd Grader 適合美洲地區小學三年級學生學科知識水平與生活經驗為主.融合兒童文學,生活倫理,人文關懷,自然科學等素材.
	Simplified Chinese for 4th Grader   適合美洲地區小學四年級學生學科知識水平與生活經驗為主.融合兒童文學,生活倫理,人文關懷,自然科學等素材.
	Simplified Chinese for 5th Grader 適合美洲地區小學五年級或九至十一歲學生學科知識水平與生活經驗為主.融合兒童文學,生活倫理,人文關懷,自然科學等素材.

	Chinese Martial Arts (武术)  發揚中華武術文化,學習中國功夫,藉以強身報國.
	Chinese Folk Dancing 發揚中華文化,學習中華民俗舞蹈,並配合校外表演.
	Er Hu 發揚中華國粹,學習中華古典樂器語音樂,並配合校外表演.
